A little help.
A clear next step.

The app is still in development. Explore the features and help prepared for launch. Public iOS and Android downloads are not available yet. See app availability

01 · FIND YOUR FEET

Getting
started.

The guided tour in the app shows the real screens and highlights the controls as you go.

Where can I find the guided tour?

Open More → How to Use the App to walk through Home, Programmes, Progress and More. You can replay it whenever you need. During a session, Workout help has a separate guide to logging sets, RIR and rest.

Can I train at home with little or no equipment?

Yes. Open More → Equipment profiles and record what you have available. The library includes bodyweight exercises, and Quick Build includes a bodyweight foundations route. Some programmes and goals still need particular equipment: a pull-up goal, for example, needs somewhere suitable to perform pull-ups. Review each plan before starting.

What is the difference between a trial and a Side Quest?

The main trials provide a structured training programme with a story to follow. Side Quests focus on a specific goal, such as your first pull-up or stronger glutes. Open a programme or quest in Programmes to check its schedule, equipment and how it fits your training.

Compare the programmes and Side Quests

Will there be a free option?

The planned model includes introductory access, a continuing Basic tier and optional Premium access. Basic keeps Hercules and your training history available; Premium expands programme and builder options. Final prices and purchase details will be confirmed before launch.

02 · YOUR TRAINING

Every session.
In context.

Keep your schedule useful and make sense of what you’ve recorded.

How do I watch an exercise demonstration?

Open an exercise and tap its video to watch a short demonstration in the large media area. Playback starts when you choose; videos never autoplay when you open an exercise. A still illustration is shown before playback, alongside the written exercise guidance.

The demonstrations use a consistent animated figure with muscle highlights to make the movement easier to follow, with a presentation suited to both dark and light appearance. You can watch when you need a reminder, then return to logging your set.

How do I change a workout’s date?

Open Your weekly schedule from Home. Hold a planned or recorded workout, then drag it to the date you want. Keep it near the top or bottom to move through weeks, forwards or backwards. You can also tap a planned workout to choose a date, or open a recorded session through Progress → Training history to change its date.

What does RIR mean?

Reps in reserve: your estimate of how many more repetitions you could have completed with good form. RIR 2 means you think two more were possible. Workout help explains how to use the logging controls during a session.

How do I remember an exercise setup?

Open My notes on the workout screen or the exercise’s library page. Add your setup or technique cue, then save the note. Notes stay with that exercise across workouts and programmes on this device. Include the location when your gym and home setups differ.

What does Your Journey count?

The card beneath Last 7 days shows your lifetime completed workouts, next workout milestone and latest earned achievement. Tap it, or open Progress → Your journey, for longer-term totals and programme and Side Quest progress.

Completed workouts with logged work count towards the completed-workout total. Saved partial sessions can contribute to training days and personal bests, but not that total. Switching programmes does not reset your lifetime workout milestone.

Where can I review sets, charts and body measurements?

In Progress, open Training history for saved sessions and sets. Exercise charts compare your recorded performance, with equipment setups kept separate. Body progress holds weight, measurements and progress photos; tap the date box when adding a measurement to choose its date.

03 · MAKE IT YOURS

Your profile.
Your preferences.

Find your settings and keep a copy of the training you want to preserve.

Where do I change my name and avatar?

Open More → Athlete tools → Athlete profile. Your selected name and avatar also appear in Your Journey on Home. Appearance, sounds and other app preferences are in More → Settings.

Can I back up my training history?

Yes. The current build stores your training data on your device. Use More → Settings → Backup & restore to save a complete backup, including progress photos and custom covers. Keep that backup somewhere you can access if your phone is lost or replaced.

Restoring replaces the app’s current data, so export anything you want to keep first. Cloud sync is not available in the current build. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data can remove records that have not been backed up.

Where are timer alerts and workout reminders?

Open More → Settings → Notifications. Timer alerts and workout reminders have separate controls. Check the app’s notification permission in your phone’s settings if alerts do not arrive, and use the in-app five-second test with your phone locked.

Focus, sound and battery settings can affect delivery. If a test fails, email us your phone model, iOS or Android version, and whether the phone was locked.
